What to Expect When Your Home is on the Market

It’s official, the sign has been placed at the end of your driveway and your home is for sale. What can you expect during this next phase of the selling process? If you read our article from last month, we discussed how it is important at this point that your home be staged, and thoroughly or professionally cleaned, so it is ready for showings. The staging process would have included depersonalizing your home (removing family photos, etc.), as well as organizing small spaces. When potential buyers come through your home, they will be looking in closets and cupboards and pantries. It is important that these spaces be clean and organized to help ensure the appearance of sufficient space for storage. In Real Estate, one of the most obvious reasons to work as a team is to share the workload. While that is partly true for us, working as a team is so much more. We truly are a partnership. We are best friends. We show up every day striving to be better, personally and for each other, and of course for our clients. Success in life and business is what we want for each other, and we have each other’s backs day in and day out. We joke that we spend so much time together that we are beginning to morph into each other. And this isn’t a bad thing! We are able to disagree without fear of offending the other. The short answer, yes. But that’s because we are passionate about what we do, and we are full-time Realtors. Gratitude + Passion

We just wrapped up another successful customer appreciation event (our Summerfest party), and we wanted to take a moment to reflect on why we do what we do. And we don’t mean hosting parties, we mean our true passion for the job that we show up to EVERYDAY.

Real estate doesn’t have to be a fulltime job, we choose to make it our fulltime job. Being in real estate everyday allows us to be in the now, know all current comparable homes and the current market, and be able to provide the best possible guidance.
