Preparing Your Home to Sell

In the past, we have touched on de-cluttering and de-personalizing your home. It is important to help the buyer picture themselves in your house, and to no longer see it as YOUR home. The best way to do that is to make the space as neutral as possible. What if we look at a more extensive way to do this and ready your home for sale? The before and after WOW when you put up a FRESH (and neutral) coat of paint, and update lighting fixtures is simply amazing. Add a fresh coat of paint to properly staging your home, and you get a 10-fold wow-factor increase. At the end of the day, the investment can do far more to help sell your home faster and closer to asking price.

Below you will see before and after pictures of our office. We did three things: fresh, neutral paint; updated lighting fixtures; professional staging. And when we saw the final product, we both said, “WOW!”
